What was the highlight of Pemba Misali Sunset Beach
Three night stay
Quaint resort with a beautiful beach front and restaurants out on the water. Attentive staff and good food at the restaurant. For $80/night and free breakfast it's a good deal.
Facilities are dated and a little run down. It needs a remodel. The room was comfortable but there were a lot of cobwebs and dirt. The cleaning staff needs to do a deep clean.

Relaxing and beautiful
Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Rooms are right on the water and the place is extremely pleasant and relaxing. Breakfast was much better than expected, it had a lot of options considering it is such a small hotel. Service was slow but everyone was kind, and the wifi was surprisingly good.
Hot water was not consistent.

Beautiful view
It's a nice place to stay if you have work to do in Chake Chake. You can take a bajaji (tuktuk) to town which takes approximately 15 minutes. At high tide, swimming from the beach right in front of the rooms is nice, and the hotel arranges trips to Misali Island. The staff is very friendly.
Some smell in the room, particularly in the bathroom. People who are not guests at the hotel tend to hang around in the common areas, including at the space right in front of the rooms. This wasn't a big problem for us, but I'm sure other people would feel more disturbed about this.
